The sun shines outside the dark room,
The light outside sounding a different tune,
In its blanket, curled up, this immortal inmate lay,
Ignorant of the heat that day.
Far above, a cloud maybe, crossed the sky,
That's why the light seemed to fade,
Only to return another day,
In this intermittent period of spurious twilight,
The inmate woke to the cold and fright,
To the fear of lucidity again,
It's senses had never lied, never did they ease its pain,
A different experience awaited the inmate this time.
