In ravaged lands, dark holocaust,
Where no creature sets a foot,
Forgotten, lain and disdain,
A scar on the beauty around.
Eyes turn on this wasted land,
Not even a side glance,
Broken and destroyed in it lie,
Stained blood the gems shattered.
The fragments spread afar,
Not a hand to collect them,
Blind to their beauty and shine.
The blood gems see the moon,
Beckoned by the light,
Some gems defy,
Push and twist and turn,
Towards the light they roll.
Hell opens up for them,
Stones break their path,
“Blood gems are not meant to shine,
Blood gems have no beauty”
Yet they roll and roll,
Away towards the moon.
Broken and burnt,
Finally they touch the silver.
In ravaged lands, dark holocaust,
Where no creature sets a foot,
A few brilliant blood gems,
In the moonlight shine.
