Standing at the ocean’s end,
gazing into the deep blue,
as if gazing the God’s lair,
how I wish you were there..
Standing out in the monsoon rain,
feeling the touch of heaven’s grace,
putting out a hand, in His care,
how I wish you were there..
Standing on a prairie vast,
with large clouds, their shadows cast,
the sun, only little bright, just to stare,
how I wish you were there..
Sitting by the river’s side,
watching it flow, in its gentle might,
brightly glowing, in the moonlit glare,
how I wish you were there..
Laying down on a bed of sand,
gazing the spots on the canvas sky,
left thinking in utter despair,
how I wish, you were there..
sitting out in a forest deep,
fiery flames in front lit,
seeking like the warmth of the flames’ flare,
how I wish you were there…
