Black Sun 3:Dawn of Darkness

A broken withered tree
and its white shadow
in scorching darkness
of the black meadow

A grass blade bends
suddenly very bright
but then it's crushed
out of our sight

So a foot is placed
on this uncanny land
our traveler takes
his subsistent stand

The black sun festers
its sickly black rays
on our traveler
on the dawn of the day

He trudges forward
seeking a path
the empty mind calls
for a new start

His clear eyes see
a far off grey forest
his instinctive feet comply
to follow its behest

At the forest's edge
a gray path emerges
the traveler's shell embarks
on his primitive mind's urges

So he goes on
on a grey path
and as the black sun sets
he makes a new start.
