Shadows on the road.....

Stretched from infinity to infinity,
lies the path under my feet,
the one I tread today,
the one I have been on forever...

The moonlit glim,casting,
a shadow on the road,
a sole darkning,
in the middle of eternity...

The shadow that was
not alone some time ago,
a solitary shadow now,
walks the untread path..

Lost is the glory of the days,
when there were a few,
to walk with him,
on the path he chose,.

Lost is all the bloom,
that they witnessed on their way,
as they plunged with a vigour,
into the unknown,over the unknown..

Lost are all those shadows,
who once were his beacon,
to pull him back on his way,
to where he wanted to go...

Lost is everthng but one,
the thing he treasures the most,
on his journey on this road,
the memories of the shadows on the road...
