"I walked in an ethereal garden,
With soft footsteps on stone.
Where life; for miles, danced with joy
And in capricious whims, dead, stood a life,
In a carnival of lucidity,
Fatigued beyond mortal words.
It shone a light, which glistened and shimmered
And yet cast shadow on which it fell.
I walked many miles, for many days,
Never finding such beauty, in death.
Except in instants of fading time,
When in fragments of a mirror, I glanced.
So I came back to the lucid carnival,
With hurried footsteps on stone
Looking for that corpse of life,
To find it sundered in vulgar display.
Many a man walks this carnival,
With cold footsteps of stone,
Gazes upon this ethereal sight,
And, sees naught, that shone.
Pity him, he walks this lucidity,
And thinks he can find his way,
But his dreams have lost their power,
To make lucidity sway"
